November is a busy month on Las Vegas casino floors. El Cortez is throwing an 85th birthday party, Palms and the Plaza are running big cash drawings, and the locals casinos are handing out free gifts for a few hours of play. Here are eight promotions worth your time.
Deal Breakdown
- El Cortez, $85,000 anniversary tournament (Nov. 5–7): Earn 10,000 slot points on Nov. 5 or 6 for a tournament entry. First place wins $10,000 in free play. A separate drawing on Nov. 7 at 7 p.m. gives one ticket for every 1,000 slot base points earned Nov. 5–7.
- Palms, $200,000 Back in the Saddle drawings: Friday and Saturday drawings at 7 and 9 p.m. on Nov. 6–7, 13–14, 20–21 and 27–28. Each winner gets $500 to $2,500 in free play, and first-place winners move on to a Dec. 12 finale for a 2026 Nissan Frontier, $50,000 in free play or $25,000 cash.
- Plaza, $50,000 Cash Giveaway: The finale is Nov. 14 at 10 p.m., with a $20,000 top prize. Entries are 10X on Nov. 6, 13 and 14.

- Silverton $1.99 breakfast: An All-American Breakfast for $1.99 from Nov. 3 to Nov. 24.
How to Claim It
Every one of these runs through the casino’s free players club, so sign up at the club desk with a photo ID first. Then:
- El Cortez: Play on your Club Cortez card. 21+ and you must be present to win.
- Palms: Earn one entry per 25 Tier Points on your Club Serrano card, then activate on drawing day and be there for the drawing.
- Plaza: One entry per 100 qualifying slot points on Plaza Rewards; present to win.
- The STRAT: One entry per 500 base points on True Rewards; present to win.
- Station Casinos: Earn 300 same-day base points on your Boarding Pass card (or get invited), then pick up 10 a.m.–8 p.m. with your ID. While supplies last.
- M Resort: Earn 100 same-day Tier Points on PENN Play between 4 a.m. and 6:59 p.m., then collect at the Promotions Center 11 a.m.–7 p.m.
- SAHARA: Activate the multiplier at a kiosk with your Infinity Rewards card.
- Silverton: Earn 200 same-day points on your Discovery Rewards card, then redeem for the breakfast.
Is It Worth It?
The gift days are the easiest win for locals. At M Resort, 100 Tier Points on the right day gets you a pan, a bottle of wine or kitchen gear, and the Station pie on Nov. 25 lands right before Thanksgiving.
The big drawings are different. You have to be in the building at drawing time, and most people walk away with nothing, so treat them as a bonus on play you already planned, not a reason to gamble more. The El Cortez tournament is the most fun pick of the month.
