One of the Strip’s best-known nightclubs is about to turn its lights back on. XS Nightclub at Wynn Las Vegas returns Thursday, Nov. 5, with a four-night grand reopening weekend after a roughly three-month remodel, according to Wynn Resorts and the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
The reopening lineup
Wynn has booked a headliner for each night of the celebration:
- Thursday, Nov. 5: RÜFÜS DU SOL (DJ set)
- Friday, Nov. 6: The Chainsmokers
- Saturday, Nov. 7: Calvin Harris
- Sunday, Nov. 8: Diplo B2B Hugel
Wynn said more talent will be announced. Tickets and VIP tables are sold through Wynn Nightlife.
First remodel in 17 years
XS closed on Aug. 1 for what the Review-Journal described as the club’s first remodeling project since it opened 17 years ago. Wynn has called it a “completely reimagined experience” with refreshed interiors and new technology, but it has not released detailed specifics about what changed inside the room. While XS was dark, Wynn moved its nightlife programming to Encore Beach Club at Night.
The Chainsmokers and Calvin Harris are both long-running Wynn Nightlife residents, so the opening weekend leans on proven names rather than newcomers.
What it means for locals and visitors
Expect a busy north Strip from Thursday through Sunday nights, with heavier pickup and drop-off traffic around the Wynn and Encore porte-cocheres, especially late at night when the club lets out. Rideshare drivers should plan for longer waits at the Wynn entrances and surge pricing around closing time. If you plan to go, book tables or tickets ahead, since opening-weekend demand at a reopened Strip club is usually high, and dress-code rules at XS still apply.
