Heads up if you’re driving the Strip today. On Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 28, traffic on Las Vegas Boulevard was heavy, and it took me more than 15 minutes just to get from the MGM Grand to the Cosmopolitan.
Driver’s tip
If you’re heading north from the south end of the Strip, give yourself extra time, or skip Las Vegas Boulevard and use Koval Lane, Paradise Road or Frank Sinatra Drive when you can. Riders: if you’re running tight on a show or dinner reservation, leave earlier than you think.
