Tuesday, Nov. 3, is Election Day for Nevada’s 2026 general election, and Clark County voters who haven’t cast a ballot yet can do so at any of the county’s 138 Election Day vote centers from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Anyone already in line at 7 p.m. will still be allowed to vote, Nevada Secretary of State Francisco Aguilar said Monday.
Aguilar and Las Vegas Mayor Shelley Berkley spoke outside Las Vegas City Hall on Monday afternoon, saying more than 730,000 ballots had already been cast statewide. In Clark County, early voting ran Oct. 17–30 at 95 sites.
Key facts for Tuesday
- Where: Clark County voters can use any vote center in the county, no matter where they live or what precinct they’re in, according to the county Election Department. Allegiant Stadium is again one of the larger voting sites.
- Same-day registration: Available at vote centers. You’ll need an unexpired Nevada driver’s license, DMV ID card, DMV interim document or Nevada tribal ID, and same-day registrants vote a provisional ballot.
- Mail ballots: Aguilar urged anyone still holding a mail ballot to drop it off in person rather than mail it on the last day, citing recent U.S. Postal Service changes. The county lists 181 mail ballot drop-off locations, and every vote center has a drop box.
- Voting in person with a mail ballot: Bring it to surrender at the site; otherwise you’ll sign an affirmation that you haven’t already voted.
- Track your ballot: Mail voters can check their ballot status and any signature cure notices through the Secretary of State’s site at nvsos.gov/vivid.
- Results: The county posts results after 7 p.m. on Election Day.
Clark County’s ballot includes 142 contests, 254 candidates and four ballot questions (two statewide and two in Boulder City). Officials said all 17 Nevada counties have coordinated with local law enforcement, including Clark County Sheriff Kevin McMahill, on Election Day safety.
What it means for locals and visitors
Expect extra traffic and fuller parking lots around busy vote centers, especially at lunch and after 5 p.m. Berkley said City Hall downtown will host an election gathering Tuesday, so plan for more activity around Main Street and Lewis Avenue. Drivers: if you’re dropping off riders near Allegiant Stadium or City Hall, give yourself a few extra minutes. Visitors from out of state are not affected; only registered Nevada voters can cast ballots. Questions about mail ballots can go to the county at 702-455-VOTE (8683).
