Jerry Seinfeld is bringing his stand-up to a new home on the Las Vegas Strip. Wynn Las Vegas and AEG Presents announced Friday morning that the comedian will headline a residency at the Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas next year, News 3 Las Vegas reported.
Dates and tickets
- Kickoff: Three shows Feb. 11–13, the run-up to Super Bowl weekend.
- More dates: Additional shows are planned for June and October; specific dates had not been listed in the announcement.
- On sale: Tickets for the first 12 shows go on sale Friday, Nov. 6, through Ticketmaster.
- Venue: Encore Theater, inside the Wynn/Encore resort on the north Strip.
Ticket prices were not included in the announcement. Bobby Reynolds, senior vice president of AEG Presents Las Vegas, said the companies “couldn’t be more thrilled” to welcome Seinfeld to the venue, pointing to the theater’s intimate setting.
What it means for locals and visitors
The Encore Theater is one of the Strip’s smaller headliner rooms, so seats for a name this big tend to go quickly. If you want to go, mark Nov. 6 on the calendar and buy only through Ticketmaster or the Wynn box office to avoid resale markups and fake tickets.
The February dates land in one of the busiest stretches of the year, with Super Bowl weekend crowds already planning Vegas trips. Expect higher hotel rates and heavier traffic around the north Strip and Wynn’s Las Vegas Boulevard and Sands Avenue entrances on show nights. Rideshare drivers: the Wynn/Encore pickup area can back up after shows let out, so plan your staging accordingly.
We’ll update this story when the June and October dates and ticket prices are announced.
