Resort fees are the line on a Vegas hotel bill everyone hates. This fall, several resorts are dropping them, and locals get the best of it. Here’s where a Nevada ID saves you the most right now.
Fontainebleau: Locals Rate, No Resort Fee
Fontainebleau’s Nevada Locals offer gives residents special room rates with the resort fee waived. You need a Fontainebleau Rewards membership, and you can sign up while booking. Book by Oct. 31, 2026 for stays through Dec. 29, 2026. The booking link uses rate code 26LOC.
The fine print matters here. You must show a government-issued Nevada ID at check-in, or the resort fee goes back on your bill. Fontainebleau also lists its best-rate dates, including some weekends: Oct. 15โ19, 22โ24 and 30โ31, and Nov. 1โ2, 11โ15 and 22โ30.
M Resort: Up to 30% Off for Nevadans
M Resort’s locals offer takes up to 30% off rooms with no resort fee. Separate fall deals take up to 20% off with a $20 dining credit per night, and Arizona and California residents get their own up-to-30% offers.
Resorts World: No Resort Fees
Resorts World’s “All Resort, No Fees” rate drops the resort fee entirely. Its “Moments Worth Sharing” fall package adds up to $100 in dining credits per stay at select restaurants and lounges. Locals also get free self-parking.
Treasure Island: Up to 30% Off
Treasure Island’s “Every Day Is a Weekend” offer takes up to 30% off Deluxe Rooms and Suites. It adds a 2-for-1 cocktail voucher and free self and valet parking, and in October, a $50 pool cabana credit good Monday through Thursday.
Rio: Up to 45% Off Suites
Rio’s “Ultimate Fall Escape” is the deepest discount on this list, at up to 45% off all-suite rooms. You need to book at least seven days ahead and stay two nights or more. Book by Oct. 31 for stays through Dec. 8. It’s for new reservations only, it’s non-refundable, and blackout dates apply.
How to Claim It
- Book directly on the hotel’s website so the offer code applies.
- Join the hotel’s rewards program first, since it’s free and some rates require it.
- Bring your Nevada ID to check-in for locals rates.
- Screenshot your rate confirmation in case the front desk needs it.
Is It Worth It?
For a one-night staycation, a waived resort fee often saves more than a percentage discount does, so compare the total price, not just the room rate. Rio’s 45% off is strong for a two-night stay, but it’s non-refundable, so only lock it in if your dates are firm.
