Caesars Entertainment, the largest casino operator on the Las Vegas Strip, released its third-quarter 2026 results on Tuesday, Oct. 27, and the Las Vegas numbers went the wrong way while the rest of the company grew.

The Las Vegas numbers

Caesars said its Las Vegas segment, which includes properties such as Caesars Palace, Paris, Flamingo, Harrah’s, Horseshoe and The LINQ, posted $930 million in net revenue for July through September, down 2.3% from $952 million a year earlier. Las Vegas adjusted EBITDA, a common measure of operating profit, fell 9.5% to $343 million from $379 million.

Through the first nine months of 2026, Las Vegas net revenue totals $2.95 billion, down 2% from $3.01 billion in the same stretch of 2025. The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that fewer conventions and weaker visitation weighed on the quarter.

The rest of the company

  • Total net revenue: $2.94 billion, up 2.5%.
  • Regional casinos: $1.63 billion in net revenue, up 5.9%.
  • Caesars Digital (sports betting and online casino): $326 million in revenue, up 4.8%, with adjusted EBITDA up 57% to $44 million.
  • Net loss: $123 million, compared with a $55 million loss a year ago.

No earnings call this time

Caesars said it will not host a quarterly conference call because of its pending agreement to be acquired by Fertitta Entertainment, announced May 28, 2026. Once that deal closes, Caesars stock will stop trading on NASDAQ and the company will become private. The release did not give a closing date.

What it means for locals and visitors

A softer Strip quarter is one reason operators are leaning on locals and deals. Caesars this week announced free self-parking and 25% off dining for Nevada residents at its Strip resorts through Dec. 26. Fewer conventions also mean fewer big-group airport and hotel runs, which drivers and service workers feel first. Boyd Gaming also reported softer Las Vegas results this earnings season.
