Halloween week is one of the busiest stretches of the year for casino drawings in Las Vegas, and this year several of the biggest wrap up between Wednesday, Oct. 28, and Saturday, Oct. 31. Here is what is on the table, who qualifies and what you actually need to do, all confirmed on the properties’ own promotion pages and rules.
Deal Breakdown
- Palms: $50,000 Monster Cash Drawing (Sat., Oct. 31). Two drawings on Halloween night, at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Each one names six winners who pick envelopes worth $10,000, $5,000, $4,000, $3,000, $2,000 and $1,000 in cash, so $25,000 goes out per drawing.
- Palms: $200,000 Scary Winnings finale (Fri., Oct. 30). The final week of earning runs Oct. 25–30. Two Last Chance drawings (7 p.m. and 9 p.m.) send four more players into a 20-person Grand Finale at 9:30 p.m., where first place is $25,000 in free slot play.
- Circa, the D and Golden Gate: Win Derek’s Mustang Dark Horse. Qualifier earning ends at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 30. The grand prize, a Ford Mustang Dark Horse, is drawn at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 21.
- Palms: free brunch buffet for first responders (Wed., Oct. 28). One complimentary A.Y.C.E. brunch buffet per eligible first responder, no purchase required.
How to Claim It
Monster Cash: Use your Club Serrano card (membership is free). You earn one entry per 25 Tier Points on eligible slots or table games from Oct. 18 through 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 31; electronic table games do not count. On Halloween you must activate entries between 6 and 8:59 p.m. at a marketing kiosk, then be present with a government photo ID and your card. Winners get two minutes to come forward.
Scary Winnings: Same card, same rate of one entry per 25 Tier Points. On Thursday, Oct. 29, earning 100 Tier Points between 2 and 11:59 p.m. and swiping at a kiosk adds 100 bonus entries for the Oct. 30 drawings. Activate in the hour before each drawing.
Mustang: Play with your Club One card. Slots and video poker earn one entry per 100 points, and points combine across all three downtown properties. Table games add entries too, such as one per blackjack dealt at a $25-minimum bet. The grand prize winner must be present on Nov. 21.
First responder brunch: Bring proof of service to the Club Serrano Desk between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Oct. 28 to activate, then show your card and photo ID at A.Y.C.E. during brunch hours. Tax and tip are not included, and you must be 21+.
Is It Worth It?
If you already play at Palms, Halloween weekend is the time to do it: the two promotions overlap, and the top five Scary Winnings finishers also get 100 bonus Monster Cash entries. Just remember you have to show up and activate in narrow windows, or your entries do nothing. The Mustang is a long shot but costs nothing extra if downtown is already your spot. The first responder brunch is the easiest win on the list: no gambling required beyond a free card signup. As always, never play more than you planned just to chase entries.
